Taliban Request an Audience at UN Assembly

The Taliban have appointed Suhail Shaheen as the Afghani UN ambassador. After requesting to be a part of the UN.
The Taliban who have seized Afghanistan in a matter of weeks are now stating that the ousted government no longer is a representation of their country. They have requested to participate in high-level debates who are considering this statement, reported the BBC.
However, they are unlikely to meet before the end of the General Assembly which is next Monday. Until then the UN collectively decide to allow the taliban into the UN Ghu
