By Sean Idriss, Staff Reporter, The Pawprint
Earlier today, one of the largest earthquakes to ever hit Australia struck roughly 200 kilometers near the large city of Melbourne. Seismologists measured the earthquake at a 6.0 magnitude and issued a no-tsunami threat.
The earthquake could be felt from as far as Sydney and Adelaide which are roughly both 850 kilometers away. So far there are no reports of casualties but footage from social media shows buildings reduced to rubble.
