8 Migrants Found Dead on Spanish Coast

The remains of 7 migrants and a child found washed up on the shores on the southern Spanish coast. The bodies were found on a 20-kilometer stretch of coastline. Guardia Civil police said these washed up over the past two days.
From these 8 migrants found, there was a child and 3 women. The age of the child is unknown.
According to the National News, the migrants were probably from one or more boats. “The boats had probably set off from Morocco or Algeria, a journey of at least 200 kilometers across the Western Mediterranean, in the hope of reaching Europe,” said the Almeria authorities.
