Citizens Relieved After President Claims No Injuries Caused by Volcano Eruption

Angel Victor Torres, the president of the Canary Islands exclaimed that no injuries had been suffered after the island of La Palma experienced a volcano eruption over the past week. 

It has erupted and is spewing fountains of lava and ash. 

Located in the Cumbre Vieja national park. The volcano has been stable since early 1971.

Residents have been asked to evacuate and the city is on alert. 

Relieved residents, while still on alert, have evacuated the area.
