On Saturday, the Abu Dhabi Government announced that visitors no longer need to take and show their PCR test results to enter the emirate.
This rule was officially declared starting Sunday. The reason for this regulation to change was because officials said that there were major drops in corona cases. The National News stated that in the past week only 0.2% of all visitors or anyone tested was tested positive for covid-19.
The committee said that “We will continue to monitor infection rates and urges all citizens, residents and visitors to continue adhering to precautionary measures to protect public health and safety, maintain successes and advance the nation’s sustainable recovery.”
Abu Dhabi’s Government wants to keep going in this state to make life easier for all in the safest way possible.
