Atlanta Falcons trade WR Julio Jones to the Tennessee Titans

After a decade with the Atlanta Falcons, Julio Jones has been traded to the Tennessee Titans for 2 future NFL Draft Picks that Atlanta will use to get new players on their roster.
Tennessee was able to avoid giving away a lot to get Jones, however they still hold on to the remaining 2 years of his contract that was made by the Falcons, worth about $15.3 million dollars.
The reasoning behind Atlanta trading Julio for barely anything in return is from his frustrations with the organization, with them not being a winning organization.
The Titans now have a true number one Wide Receiver to strengthen their offense.
“We feel like we had a good football team coming into today … hopefully we’ve bolstered it by adding Julio,” Jon Robinson, General Manager of the Titans said on a Sunday conference call, adding that a restructured deal could be coming in the near future.
Robinson added on, praising Jones, “He’s got really good size, he’s got a long catch radius, good catching skills”.
Jones will be teaming up with the likes of Ryan Tannehill, Derrick Henry, and fellow wide receiver AJ Brown, who praises Julio as his childhood hero.
