Russia recently announced plans to build an aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional skyscraper. The name for the new skyscraper is Lakhta Center II, The skyscraper is set to be 703 meters tall just beating out Shanghai’s 632 meter skyscraper called the Shanghai tower. The Burj Khalifa will still remain the tallest building in the world totaling 828 meters.
Most of the interior design for the building will be used for office space, living and restaurants. The top floor will be used as a viewing space to see Russia’s beautiful monuments. The date for which it will be ready is still unknown but a good guess would be around 5-7 years for how long it will take.
