Microsoft mandates removal of Flash from Windows 10 devices

Benjamin Turner, Staff Reporter, The Pawprint

Many companies like Apple, Google, Mozilla are removing themselves from the Adobe Flash technology, and now Microsoft is on the list.

The new windows update will not delete third-party installations of Flash player, only versions that have been bundled with Windows itself.

The change isn’t too impactful to people, as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Apple Safari each ended Flash support by January 1, 2021.

In addition, all builds of Windows 10 update KB4577586 are available and can be installed as a security update.

There is no worry, as you can also download and deploy KB4577586 directly from the Windows Catalog. When you’re done, you can cheer by safely playing an emulated Flash game.
