Sony has not done much in the past couple of years with their game franchises, releasing a couple one-offs like Uncharted” Fortune Hunter, but this might change in the near future.
Sony reportedly are hiring an executive at PlayStation Studios that will be focusing on bringing PlayStation’s “most popular franchises’ ‘ to mobile devices.
It’s obvious why Sony would try to bring their games onto the mobile devices, as it will widen the audience, and reap profits from in-app purchases, similar to the tactics of other massively popular mobile game ports like Fortnite, PUBG, and Roblox.
The only challenging part however is actually putting the games onto the smartphone to work, having to tweak with every aspect to optimize a stable frame rate in which the player can have an enjoyable experience.
