UAE Carries Out Military Security Exercise

Several citizens were shocked to see military vehicles and helicopters roaming the Wadi Al Baih in Ras Al Khaimah over the past few days, yet there is no reason to be alarmed. We are not under attack.

The UAE’s Ministry of Interior has stated that they are carrying out a routine “security exercise” and to refrain from approaching any of the vehicles.

The Ministry has also urged people to refrain from filming the vehicles, as it could induce the spread of misinformation and possibly be considered a security issue.

If residents were to come upon one of these vehicles they should “make way for police units” and avoid the site in order to avoid further disruptions.

These exercises will be conducted from 8 AM to 11 AM today (March 24th).
