St. Patrick’s Day Cookies

St.Patrick’s Day is right around the corner which means it’s time to put your baking skills to the test. This delicious cookie recipe is easy to make and fits perfectly for this upcoming holiday. 


  • 1 Cup of Sugar
  • ½ Cup Softened Butter
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ Cup of Sour Cream
  • 1 Small Box of Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix
  • ½ Tsp of Salt
  • ½ Tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 Cups of All Purpose Flour
  • 2 Tsp of Mint Extract
  • 3 Drops of Blue Food Coloring  + 10-15 Drops of Green Food Coloring
  • 1 ½ Cup of Chocolate Chips


Step 1:

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit (190 C).

Step 2: 

Cream together the sugar and butter. Once mixed, mix the egg, sour cream, and pudding mix. In a separate bowl combine the dry ingredients: flour, salt, and baking soda. Wisk the dry ingredients together then combine with the wet mixture. Mix until well combined. Then add the mint extract and 3 drops of food coloring and 10-15 drops of green food coloring. Finally add in the chocolate chips.

Step 3: 

Grease a baking sheet and make small round balls with cookie dough and place it onto the sheet. Insert into the oven and bake for ten minutes.

Step 4: 

Remove the cookies from the sheet and place them on a plate.  

Step 5: 

Eat away.
