Talk show host and former CNN presenter, Larry King, has been hospitalized in LA with Coronavirus.
The 87-year-old has been at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for over a week, with no visitors allowed, including his three sons. King has had a myriad of other health issues in the past, including Type 2 Diabetes, several heart attacks, and various surgeries, including a quintuple bypass surgery and a successful lung cancer removal surgery.
King is not the only one in his family that has suffered from severe health issues. In 2020, two of his children passed away within one week of each other. His son, Andy King, 65, passed away of a heart attack in late July, and his daughter Chaia King, 52, died in Aigist after being diagnosed with lung cancer.
King has been a prominent character in television for decades, with his arguably his most famous segment being “Larry King Live” for CNN, which he hosted for 25 years until 2010, and taped over 6,000 episodes for. Two years after he retired from his CNN career, he became the host of “Larry King Now”, a show that airs three times a week on Ora TV, a platform he co-founded.
Not a lot of information has been released about King’s condition.
