Ohio State faced Clemson on Saturday in the semifinals of the College Football Playoffs, a National Football Championship that pits the Countries best College Football teams against each other to crown one the champions.
Ohio were the clear underdogs in this semifinal game, sports analysts going as far as to rank them 11th in the Nation. Also, Clemson possess a greater roster; in coach Dabo Swinney, two time National Champion, and #1 Overall Draft Prospect Trevor Lawrence at QB. This wasn’t about to stop Ohio from taking a 21 point lead in the second quarter, later going on to win the game 49-28.
Ohio State QB, Justin Fields, is clearly the reason for the success of the team in the semifinals Sugar Bowl Game presented by Allstate. He threw an insane 6 TD, covered 385 yards, and threw only one interception.
The team now needs to prepare to face the #1 seed Alabama in the College Football Playoffs Final on tuesday next week.
