10. Gremlins

This classic holiday horror film features Mogwai creatures based on chinese demons. Billy’s father buys one of the animals for his son as a gift. The Mogwai came with three crucial rules to follow but Billy does not follow them. Don’t let these creatures fool you, they can be quite scary. 

9. Jingle All The Way

Have you ever run around the city trying to buy the hottest toy during the holiday season? Howard Langsten played by Arnold Schwartznager runs around the city of Minneapolis trying to buy a toy called Turbo Man for his son.

8. The Christmas Carol

This classic Charles Dickens novel was turned into a movie in 2009 by Walt Disney Pictures. The Christmas Carol stars famous actor Jim Carrey playing Scrooge Ebenezar, a man who hates Christmas. Scrooge is visited by the ghost of Christmas past, the ghost of Christmas present, and the ghost of Christmas future. 

7. How The Grinch Who Stole Christmas

This holiday movie was originally a book written by Dr. Seuss. This Christmas classic stars famous actor Jim Carrey playing the role of the Grinch. The Grinch has a cold heart and wants to ruin Christmas by stealing all the presents in Whoville.

6. Elf

This comedy Christmas movie Elf stars famous actor Will Ferrell playing the role of Buddy. Buddy is an elf that works at the North Pole but compared to everyone else he is not the average height of an elf. Buddy finds out he was born in New York and takes a long journey there to meet his biological father. 

5. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation

If you want a Christmas comedy movie to watch, then this movie is for you. Clark Griswald wants to please his family for the holidays but everything doesn’t go as planned.

4. The Santa Clause 

This movie stars famous actor Tim Allen. Scott Calvin was your average man until he and his son caught Santa Claus on their roof. Santa Claus fell off and disappeared leaving Santa’s job to Scott. 

3. The Polar Express

The Polar Express features famous actors such as Tom Hanks, Daryl Sabara, Eddie Deezen, and many more. The plot focuses on Hero Boy, the boy who doesn’t believe in Santa Claus. Him and a few other children take a long journey to The North Pole by the Polar Express.

2. A Charlie Brown Christmas

A Charlie Brown Christmas is a cartoon classic based off of the Peanut comics.

1. Home Alone Movies

The number 1 spot has been given to the Home Alone series. Both movies are holiday classics and are entertaining to watch. The Mcallister Family have travelling plans for christmas but Mr and Mrs. Mcallister forgot one thing, his son.
