With the holiday season setting in, weather getting colder, and Christmas decorations coming up, there is nothing better to do than cuddling up on the couch with a hot chocolate and a blanket and going on a Christmas movie binge. These are the top 10 romantic holiday movies to get you in the Christmas spirit. Bonus- they’re available to 

stream on Netflix!

  1. Midnight at the Magnolia

Maggie and Jake are both best friends and coworkers on the radio show “The Windy City Wake-Up”. After they decide to fake a relationship to their families and listeners, they embark on a tale of love, laughter, and everything in between. 

  1. The Princess Switch

Now I know, the story of two girls that somehow magically look the exact same and switch lives either for fun or to be the oh-so-strong heroes of the book feels overused and frankly, boring. However, this movie is anything but! This is a wholesome story starring Vanessa Hudgens, following a baker from Chicago and a duchess through their lives, and watching them both find love. A perfect family movie, or just a movie to watch when you feel especially lacking in Christmas spirit.

  1. The Princess Switch: Switched Again

In the sequel to the popular and well loved “The Princess Switch”, main characters Stacy and Margaret reunite, but will a diabolical family member with a similar face come into the mix and throw a wrench through their plans? Another wholesome family movie to watch anytime!

  1. A Christmas Prince

The first of three movies following investigative journalist Amber Moore after she gets assigned a piece about the soon-to-be king of Aldovia, Prince Richard. She pretends to be a tutor for the prince’s younger sister Emily, and falls in love with the prince.

  1. A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding

In the second of three movies, Richard and Amber get ready to tie the knot, but will personal issues drive them away from each other? Amber starts to get cold feet and doubts herself, and Richard is dealing with a situation that may put the entire kingdom in jeopardy. 

  1. A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby

In the last movie of the series, Richard and Amber await the birth of their first child and host families from a ew other countries to renew an ancient treaty. When this treaty goes missing, it could put the whole country in jeopardy.

  1. Christmas Wedding Planner

Kelsey Wilson signs up to plan her cousin’s wedding, but she doesn’t expect private investigator Connor McClane to investigate something at the wedding, working for a secret source. He does not hesitate to get in the way of as much of the wedding preparations as possible, but will he end up capturing Kelsey’s heart? Spoiler alert: he very much does.

Emma Roberts stars in this adorable friendship-to-romance movie. When two complete strangers agree to be each other’s plus-ones for every holiday event, they have no idea that they will be falling hopelessly in love with each other.

  1. Christmas Inheritance

When her father tells Elle Langford that she can only redeem her inheritance after she drops off a Christmas Card to one of his previous business associates, Elle is less than impressed. Detective Mackenzie Bennett goes undercover to catch suspected diamond thief, Carson. While undercover, she starts to suspect that Carson isn’t the thief, and he’s only being framed. One thing leads to another, and she inevitably ends up falling for the so-called jewel thief.
