Dubai authorities have stressed the importance of following Covid-19 precautions while celebrating UAE’S 49th national day, which is on Monday. Celebrators are encouraged to limit family gatherings to no more than 20 people, while wearing masks and practicing social distancing.
The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority told the public to strictly follow the precautionary measures while celebrating upcoming occasions, such as National Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve. Private parties and gatherings are still banned, along with National Day car parades.
Workplace celebrations are discouraged, however people can continue to celebrate by hanging banners, flags, and decorations.
From a health perspective, it is still vital for people to wear masks, have their temperature checked, and properly sanitize their hands.
Workers who will be participating at venues like buffets and parties are ensuring proper health and safety precautions are followed.
