By: Ryan Ebeid, Sports reporter, The Pawprint
Liverpool have been worried about their starting 11 because of the large amount of injured players. The outstanding number of players injured include:
Mo Salah – coronavirus (2 weeks)
Joe Gomez – knee surgery (6-12 months)
Trent Alexander-Arnold – Ruptured ACL (within 1 month)
Andy Robertson – hamstring (unknown)
Jordan Henderson – “Tightness in the leg” (unknown)
Fabinho – hamstring injury (1 week)
Virgil van Dijk – Knee ligament injury (6+ months)
Thiago Alcantara – Bruised Knee (1 week)
These injuries are very worrying to Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool starting 11, because this might prevent them from having a chance of winning the league again if they lose too many games.
