The NFL could be pushing back Superbowl LV into March if games keep getting postponed. With entering the 2020 season, the NFL has been trying to take measures to reduce the number of cases in the League with precautions like having little to no audience, isolation, tracking devices, etc.
Even with this, the NFL has already had to reschedule more than a dozen games, to let the teams get back on their feet from players getting COVID-19.
President of the Green Bay Packers, Mark Murphy revealed the information during a virtual pep rally when someone asked him the current state of the Super Bowl. Murphy states, “Obviously, we’d prefer not to do that, but you do have that flexibility if we run into a number of outbreaks with different teams or if we have to kind of move the schedule back.”
