On October 11th, in Washington D.C. a poll was held after Trump’s diagnosis of the coronavirus, Biden jumped ahead of Trump in the southern state by a double-digit margin, 54-42 among female voters. The White House reveals 65% of respondents have stated that Trump failed to follow the safety precautions to avoid spreading COVID-19, which greatly impacted the poll.
Although, Trump maintains to hold his white voters who are lacking college degrees. Other polls in the last months show that Biden has a greater chance with suburban voters with a 56% to 34% lead.
