A popular restaurant in Abu Dhabi has been shut down due to inspectors issuing three warnings and three violations against facilities. The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority says that the decision to close the restaurant ‘Pasha Egypt Restaurant’, which is located on Defence Street in Abu Dhabi has repeatedly violated health and food safety protocol.
The violations included storing food on the floor, not cleaning equipment and overall a very dirty kitchen. Inspectors also found that the refrigerator shelves and freezers in the kitchen have fathered rust due to lack of hygiene.
Inspectors had given the restaurant three warnings and three violations against the facility during February 10th to September 20th, but the restaurants ignored these warnings and didn’t clean up. They continued to disobey the rules, which led the restaurant to shutting down.
