On Saturday,September 26th Manchester United played against Brighton,where they won 2-3 with some late drama. Brighton’s Neal Maupay scored the opening goal for Brighton from a penalty making it 1-0 in the 40th minute.
In the 43rd minute Lewis Dunk scored an own goal from a United corner, making it 1-1. United then went 2-1 up in the 55th minute after Marcos Rashford dribbled around the Brighton defenders after a pass from Bruno Fernandes.
Brighton’s Solly March made it 2-2 with a fine header.
However, in the 98th minute of the game the referee blew for full time, but was asked to review a handball call by Brighton’s Maupay. He checked the VAR, gave a penalty to United which Bruno Fernandes slotted home making it 2-3.
