Leicester Held Against Aston Villa in League Cup Tie

Aston Villa traveled to the King Power Stadium on the 9th of January to face Premier League challengers Leicester City. The match ended in a draw, with a goal apiece.
Aston Villa’s goal came in the first half when Villa full-back Frederic Guilbert converted across, giving his team the lead early on in the 28th minute. Leicester City found it hard to break through Villa’s defense but was offered a lifeline when Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho scored a 74th-minute equalizer, leveling the game at 1-1. Leicester will travel to Villa Park on the 28th of January for the second leg of the tie.
