The Germans have managed a 2 goal draw against Argentina in an international friendly match, thanks to Lucas Ocampos’s 85th-minute equaliser on Wednesday. Germany missing a dozen players and without a single world champion in the starting line-up, fielded a callow team including newcomers Robin Koch and Luca Waldschmidt. They lacked experience, however, they made it up with their enthusiasm in the first half with Serge Gnabry continuing his prolific run, scoring his tenth goal in his eleventh international match. Next, Germany will take on Estonia in a Euro 2020 qualifier on Sunday.
Argentina, without suspended world footballer of the year Lionel Messi as well as Angel Di Maria and Sergio Aguero, cut the deficit in the 66th minute through substitute Lucas Alario who instantly added more pace to their game.
