Walmart Gunman Not Expected to Survive Injuries
On Saturday, a Florida man shot a woman after a domestic dispute in Walmart, then fled the scene and shot himself. The suspect, identified as 54-year-old David Johnson, was hospitalized and is currently in custody. Johnson is not expected to survive. The victim, 30-year-old Carli Cronin, was pronounced dead by the Ocala Police Department on Twitter.
The shooting took place in the garden center. Police say afterward she ran inside the store screaming for help. Employees immediately alerted authorities. Witness Colleen Wade told the Ocala Star-Banner she heard crashing where they were. Shortly after she saw Johnson shoot Cronin, leave the store, then ride away on a bike. Cronin died in the hospital.
