Swiss stun Belgium 5-2 to make Final Four in UEFA’S Nations League
Number one national team in the world, Belgium, fell to a stunning defeat against Switzerland 5-2 on Sunday. Belgium had a lead of 2-0 after just 20 minutes thanks to Thorgan Hazard’s two goals and was totally dominating the match.
As the first half was ending, Switzerland was already winning 3-2. “We all disappeared from the match suddenly,” Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois said. The shock continued and in the 62nd minute, when Nico Elvedi took advantage of a defensive error by Belgium. Seferovic settled Switzerland’s victory with a magnificent header in the 85th minute.
