England and South Africa went head to head at London’s rugby ground Twickenham on the 3 November. Both teams presented equal competition as they had no loss of first-team players. England managed to grab the victory 12-11, with all their points being from penalty goal kicks. Whereas South Africa managed to score a try as Kbu Nkosi ran to victory in the 33rd minute putting 5 points on the board making the score 8-3 for South Africa. England revived after scoring two penalty kicks from Owen Farrell, the Springbok’s managed to pull the score 9-11 putting them in the lead with 10 minutes to go. Farrell then kicked to victory after an awarded penalty making England the winners of the game. Eddie Jones the England coach impressed with the result had this to say “We got through 80 minutes, there was sharp resistance and toughness in our play so I’m really pleased with our boys. Finally, England has made a very promising start to the rugby season.
