911 Terrorist “treasurer” walks free
Mounir el-Motassadeq, the treasurer behind fatal the attack on the 11th of September 2001, has been released from a 15-year sentence in maximum security jail in Hamburg after being convicted of planning the attack and paying the salaries of the terrorist soldiers’ tuition and rent. Earlier this week after Mounir was released he was deported and securely flown by armed forces back to his home Marrakesh in Morocco. He was flooded by mobs of supporters welcoming him home which disgusted a British woman called Joy Bennett who lost her son Oliver Bennett in the fatal attack. “It’s hard to put into words how it felt to look at how this man who received a hero’s welcome in Marrakesh,” Joy said. Mounir now lives with his wife and two kids in the suburbs of Marrakesh rumoured to be busy meeting old friends and praying at his local mosque.
