On 25 October, a school bus carrying 44 people was swept away by flash floods in Jordan, near the Dead Sea. A few kids managed to reach rocks for safety while many ended up in the sea. At least 21 people have died, while others are still being rescued but with serious injuries.
A huge rescue operation has been launched and the Israeli military has sent a number of helicopters with elite search and rescue units. Many troops are still helping to find those missing, despite the terrible weather conditions.
