Airbnb banned a host for Rejecting a British woman because of her Hijab

The 25-year-old, Nurjahan Saleque a British neuroscience Ph.D. student had booked an Airbnb apartment in Hamburg, Germany, but her request was declined by the host even though the apartment was available. The host said that she wouldn’t “fit” in their neighborhood because she wears a hijab. Saleque’s friend posted a screenshot of the conversation between Nurjahan and the host to support her. Once Airbnb heard about this they removed the host.
