13 deaths after a hurricane in the Carolinas
On Friday the 14th, a vast amount of rainfall hit North and South Carolina. According to BBC, more than 4,000 homes, along with many roads, were destroyed. This also led to about a million people without power and 13 deaths. For the moment, the hurricane hit eight counties in North Carolina, however, the US National Hurricane Centre predicts that the storm will be headed to the Ohio valley soon.
