Rubbish from lost sea cargo found on Sydney beaches
Plastic jars, packaged food and nappies washed up on a shore in Australia after 83 shipping containers fell into the Tasman Sea. Th cargo tumbled of of the ship off the coast of New South Wales on May 31st. Material from the containers washed up on the following Sunday. The Taiwanese shipping company Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation apologized for the incident. “We will take full responsibility and to minimise the impact to the marine environment”, says spokesman Steven Ka.
