US Preacher asks Followers to Help Buy Forth Private Jet

A US televangelist ‘Jesse Duplantis’, has asked his followers to help buy his fourth private jet – because Jesus “wouldn’t be riding a donkey”.

He said God had told him to buy a Falcon 7X costing $54m (£41m).

He proceeded to mention how he was hesitant about the purchase at first, but said God had told him: “I didn’t ask you to pay for it. I asked you to believe for it.”

Twitter soon reacted in a controversial manner bringing up bible verses of “false prophets”. Many said that the money should be used for the poor rather then funding his private jet.
