DAA Dominates EAC

This past weekend – 16 and 17 March 2018 – both Junior Varsity (JV) and Varsity Track and Field and Badminton teams took part in the Emirates Athletics Conference (EAC). DAA competed with five other schools from both Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Track and Field:
Both JV and Varsity girls placed third overall. Varsity boys placed third as well, and JV boys took home the overall gold.

Yara Mersi (11) takes the lead in her event, earning her the gold.
Badminton:
This EAC, the JV team placed second overall, and the Varsity team brought back the gold for the second year in a row.

Varsity Boys Co-Captain Francois Rioux (12) proudly receives the winning banner for his team.
EAC is used as preparation for the Middle East South Asian Conference (MESAC), which takes place in the second week of April. Congratulations to all athletes who competed in EAC’s, and good luck to you all for MESAC. Go Leopards!
