United Airlines takes full responsibility for the tragic death of a French Bulldog puppy who was placed in the overhead compartment of the aircraft on a flight from Houston to New York. The United flight attendant forced the family to place their puppy in the overhead bin. Although, the overhead lockers are not airtight, the lack of oxygen is a possible cause of the dogs death. United Airlines in now investigating the death to make sure that and incident like this never happens again. Witnesses say that the dog’s owner told the cabin crew that her dog was in the carrier, but she was forced to put it in anyway.
