Stephen Hawking, renowned scientist dies at 76
Stephen Hawking, a famous intelligent scientist passed away at the age of 76 yesterday (March 14th). He was a great scientist, cosmologist, mathematician, astronomer and an author of one of the bestselling book, “A Brief History of Time”. He was able to combine Einstein’s theory of relativity with quantum theory to further link to bigbang and black holes. However Hawking suffered from a disease called ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, at the age of 21. Despite many doctors concern that he would only be able to live few more years, he relied on wheelchairs and technologies and lived until 76. Lawrence Krauss, a physicist and cosmologist stated “A star just went out in the cosmos. We have lost an amazing human being.”
