Nigerian Government Reveals Names of 110 Missing Girls After School Raid
The Nigerian government revealed the names of 110 girls kidnapped by Boko Haram after the school raid. The Nigerian Air Force has flown 200 hours in total as of February 26, looking for the girls who have vanished since Boko Haram militants attacked the Government Girls Science Technical College in Dapchi.Boko Haram is a militant Islamic group, whose purpose is to institute Islamic law in Nigeria and forbid Western education. On February 27, the Nigerian government released the list of missing girls, verified by the school administrators. According to the list, the girls’ ages ranges from 11 to 19. “My daughter Aisha Kachalla is missing and we can’t get any information from school because soldiers are all over there,” protested Bashir Manzo, father of one of the missing girls.
