On February 23d, Donald Trump gave a speech at CPAC, Conservative Political Action Conference, about the recent gun shooting incident in Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. He insisted that he would want to raise the age limit from 18 to 21 for buying rifles and he would need some political support in order to do it. But some people point out that he does not have the numbers in Congress. For the success of Trump’s plan, he would need a two-thirds majority of both the House and Senate and three quarters of 50 states have to approve too. According to the researchers, they say there is no possibility that even the first step would succeed and even if they do, the Republicans do not have enough state votes to win too.
