London airport closed after WWII bomb was found in Thames

London City Airport has been closed after a WWII bomb was discovered in the nearby Thames River.  A spokeswoman from the airport said that the airport will be closed all day  and flights will be cancelled which will affect 16,000 passengers. According to the airport’s website, 130 of the 216 scheduled flights have been canceled. Operations of removing the bomb are going and the Royal Navy implemented the 214- meter exclusion zone to ensure public safety.
