North Korea plans military parade on eve of Winter Olympics

This year, North Korea will hold its 70th anniversary military parade the day before the Winter Olympics in South Korea. The annual traditional parade ,which marks the founding of its army, is usually held in April, however, was moved to February 8th this year. The US has stated that it would rather the parade not take place, as it may deteriorate the focus away from the Games.
