Barcelona has signed the Brazilian midfielder for a hefty price of 142 million pounds. Surprisingly enough this was only the third most expensive transfer done in 2017. The most expensive transfers consist of 200 million pounds for Neymar from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain, 165 million pounds for Kylian Mbappe, from Monaco to Paris Saint-Germain, and finally 135.5 million pounds for Ousmane Dembele from Borussia Dortmund to Barcelona.
