Mrs. Douglas joins DAA

The DAA family is proud to welcome one of our new science teachers, Mrs Douglas. The Pawprint interviewed Mrs Douglas about her life and her teaching career, here is what she had to say:
Where are you from?
I was born in Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean but lived for many years in Colorado, USA, Malta, and now,after many years, Dubai.
What are your hobbies?
I enjoy hiking, yoga, and traveling.
Do you have any kids?
I have two wonderful kids, Jaze in KG1 and Imani in Grade 2.
Where did you previously live, and what did you do there?
I’ve previously lived in Colorado and Malta, where I was a teacher. I was born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago where I worked as a Quality Manager.
What is the craziest thing that you have ever done?
I once went scuba diving in the freezing waters of the kelp forest in California.
What has been your favorite thing about DAA so far?
I love the culture of kindness at DAA and seeing the fun and passionate way students and teachers interact with each other.
DAA is very happy to be welcoming Mrs. Douglas into our wonderful school!
